History of Tae Kwon Do Korean Terms and Phrases

At the Twin Dragons Martial Arts Studio, we believe that students learn in their own individual style and pace. As instructor, it is imperative for us to identify and work with these varying learning styles and paces. An instructor must have the patience and foresight to know each student's limits as well as when a student can and should be pushed a little beyond his or her limits.

When it comes to the children's classes, We want Tae Kwon Do to feel more like a game. Children have to enjoy what they are learning in order for them to benefit from it. Yes, they can learn the motions and be very good. However, if they enjoy Tae Kwon Do, they will want to do the very best that they can.

Oath: As a member of The Twin Dragons Martial Arts Studio, I solemnly promise to use my knowledge of martial arts to promote peace around the world, respect to the people and world around and loyalty for my country, family and friends.

Tae Kwon Do Code of Ethics:

* Obey and respect your parents.
* Do your best in your school work.
* Do your best in Tae Kwon Do.
